Emma House (Non-profit)

Emma House, (now operating as The SAFV Centre), is a non‑profit organisation based in south‑west Victoria that provides specialist support services to women and children experiencing family violence.

Originally established as Emma House Domestic Violence Services, the organisation has a long history as a client‑led service focused on reducing the impact of domestic and family violence. Following its merger with The SAFV Centre, it continues to deliver crisis support, case management, legal assistance, court support, and advocacy, as well as community education and prevention programs.

Emma House works closely with local agencies, police, and the courts to ensure the safety and wellbeing of women and children, with services remaining free, confidential, and tailored to individual needs.
